Construction Project Manager

My client is a National Design/Build firm based in Metro Detroit looking to add a Senior Project Manager due to a backlog of work through 2026. They do work across the US with projects including Light Industrial, Manufacturing, Education, and Commercial ranging from $20-$50M. They’re an employee focused company, offering career development paths and employee stock options.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, scope, and execution of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
• Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources
• Implement and enforce quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
• Maintain effective communication with leadership, clients, architects, and owners
• Travel regularly to the site to coordinate with the field, owners, and subcontractors

Qualifications:

• 20+ years of Construction Experience
• Successful track record running ground up Design/Build projects valued at $20M+
• Light Industrial or Education experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Procore or other construction software
• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent preferred
• OSHA Certified
• Ability to travel bi-weekly to out of state projects

Offer:

• $120k-$140k base salary, depending on experience
• Vehicle Allowance ranging from $500-$700/month
